34th

Frani and I were talking the other day about how we used to look SOOO forward to our birthdays, and how we wanted to do something big and special. Things are different now. It's still nice to be acknowledged and to have a big event now and then (like my surprise party last year), but it's also great to just have a quiet, relaxing day. Below is a collage of photos of what my 34th entailed....

Sleeping in with a good book (re-read of the DaVinci Code); planting flowers; hanging out with the boys; presents (including this hat AND the camera used to take these photos); tiramisu cake; cheese fries at the Hillcats game.
