Memorial Day recap

What a great weekend we had. Mom and Dad were in town for my birthday and Memorial Day. We were busy little beavers. Here is a little glimpse into some of the fun...

On Saturday, we had a garage sale. After the garage sale, Eric and Ben played ALL DAY with the neighbor kids - Leann and Amber. They all play so well together. We were even able to get in their inground pool for awhile.

Sunday evening, we went to play putt putt. Or, as Ben now calls it, "play golf ball." Here is the crew.


Monday, we went to the Virginia Safari Park. Eric had a blast. Ben, not so much. The poor kid was terrified. After this run-in with the ostrich, Ben mostly sat in the very back seat with his hands over his ears!

Ali enjoyed her visit with Nana and Papa. Well... once she got over her apparent aversion to Nana the first day. Here is a new fave picture.

Tuesday (my b-day), the whole crew spent some time outside washing cars. Ben decided HE was dirty too and gave himself quite a soapy bath. Look at that face!
