Party of Five.

2 years ago, the Armentrouts became a party of 5. I get so nostalic on the kids' birthdays, and today was no different. It is so hard for me to believe that I have only known this kid 365 days x 2 (it's too late at night for me to do math). Here is a photo of our first meeting.

And here is the little girl (emphasis on GIRL) today. Hat and tutu courtesy of Aunt Julie.

She was so funny today. Every time I said something about her being 2 or being the birthday girl, she did that hilarious shock/gasp thing that she does. Every time. And I said it alot... like I said, I'm nostalgic.

Speaking of which... let's take a look at Ali at 2:

She loves shoes
She prefers to have mom put her to bed
She loves accessories.... sunglasses, hats, you name it
She is girly, but she also loves boy toys
She will not go to sleep without hugs from everyone
She is in love with her brothers (and vice versa)
She yells the last word of most songs
She knows "Take Me Out to the Ballgame", "Twinkle Twinkle" and several other songs and can sing along.
She loves music in general, but Laurie Berkener Band is her favorite
She can sing the ABCs
She is just starting to have those kid fears (dark, my fish face ... don't ask)
She is a picky eater
She drinks like a fish (milk, not the hard stuff)
She can climb like a monkey
She says "upsie down" for upside down
She wants to do everything herself (sigh)
She can take her clothes off
She is interested in the potty, but no luck yet
She loves clothes (often many layers)
She is obsessed with her pacis still

She is my baby girl, only not so much a baby anymore. Happy Birthday, Allison Grace
