Yes, it's that time of the year... the time when mini backpacks come out and snacks are packed - for the first day of preschool. Ben was actually VERY excited this morning. We was disappointed in the carpool situation, however. He was expecting a large body of water. :)

Just for fun, here is a picture of the little scene Ben set up in my laundry room. Each little animal had his own meal. He has the imagination, the looks, and that smile. Watch out world, here he comes.

In other news, on Saturday, Eric decided to do that time-honored tradition of bilking the neighbors for all their change.... yes, a lemonade stand. He figured he'd make about $10 or so, he said. The little bugger came close - he made about $6. I thought his price point was a bit high, but he proved me wrong. God bless capitalism. Come on, could YOU tell this kid no? ;)
