We got these little glasses at Target yesterday (love those dollar bins) and she wore them through the store, getting MUCH attention from passersby. The kid just smiled and posed every time someone oohed and aahed over her. Uh. Oh.
In other Ali news, she took a first step today. She has been standing without holding on (for a few seconds, anyway) all week, but today she made that big move forward.
With all this excitement going on, I should not be surprised that my little starlett just weaned herself a minute ago. We were down to only nursing to bed at night, and I was just holding on a LITTLE bit longer. Tonight, though, she very clearly told me she was done - with a push away. This is just when the boys weaned - 14 months, so I guess it's right on time. A little glad. A little sad.
As for Eric, he is counting down the days to his 6th birthday on Sunday. Check out this present from Nana and Papa that came today. The box was so big and the weather so nice that we could not deny him the pleasure of an early gift. He is a pro already.
As for Ben... just a word of caution... beware of a 3-year-old wielding a giant stick. Especially when he has THAT look on his face. ;) He is as funny and infuriating as always.
Happy Weekend, all. It is supposed to be 76 degrees here tomorrow, so maybe some pool photos on the way. Ok... maybe not....

We're glad that Eric received his scooter in time for his birthday. Your children are all adorable! Can't wait to see you all. Papa has the sniffles but promised he will feel better before the boys come.
